Evangelism

Our Mission

The Church has been commissioned to go and Make Disciples, as stated in Matthew 28: 16-20. Our Mission is therefore to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the sinner and equip the Body of Christ to be effective witnesses.

We Teach that Evangelism Consist of 3 Key Components

Prayer - is our sincere heart's desire communicated to God. Asking for protection (I Peter 4:7), Intercession (Romans 8:26)

Witnessing - means giving a firsthand account of something seen, heard or experienced such as who God is, through our lifestyle and testimony.(Acts 1:8). The Gospel Presentation, Lifestyle (II Corinthians 3:2)

Discipleship - involves teaching and training others to produce a specific character or pattern of behavior such as those aligned with the commandments of God, so that they become more like Him. (Matthew 28:20)

How To Witness

Step 1 Build a Rapport

  • Find a common ground; learn how to use the environment, nature and your surroundings to relate to people.   It should take less than a minute to build a rapport.

Step 2 The Gospel Presentation

  • Share the Plan of Salvation by using scriptures that minister to where that person is. Keep in mind that some plant, others water and God gives the increase.

Romans Road to Salvation

  • Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God

  • Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us

  • Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord

  • Romans 10: 9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.   For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation

Use Your Testimony – Use these questions as a guideline to construct your personal testimony and use it to convey the Gospel.

  • How was your life before you came to Christ?

  • What event happened in your life that lead you to Christ?

  • How has your life changed since you accepted Christ?

Step 3 Always End On A Positive Note

Our evangelism classes and community witnessing are open to all ages.
